1996 The Company's core technology "Technology for preparing photonic crystal by autocloning" was invented.
(Kawakami laboratory in Research Institute of Electrical Communication of Tohoku university)
2002 Photonic Lattice, Inc. was established. Shojiro Kawakami took up a post as the president and CEO.
The Company started at NICHe of Tohoku university.
2003 The Company carried capital increase from 3 venture capitals into effect.
2004 The central office was moved to Aoba Incubation Square(Aoba-ku, Sendai city). The Company carried 60 million yen capital increase from one venture capital into effect. The Company started kicking in business pursuit.
2006 Polarization imaging camera PI-100 with the photonic crystal was released.
2007 The Company carried 150 million yen capital increase from two venture capitals and two companies into effect.
2009 Birefringence measurement system WPA-100 was released.
Photonic crystal optical elements were identified as "Miyagi sugure MONO".
The Company was chosen as "300 Vital Manufacturing SEMs".
2011 The Company was affected by The Great East Japan Earthquake. Katsuto Kishida took up a post as the president and CEO. The central office was moved to Minami-Yoshinari, Aoba-ku, Sendai city(ICR building).
2012 The Company received ISO9001. Compact ellipsometer SE-101 was released.
The Company decreased capital fund to one hundred million yen to resolve cumulative loss.
2013 WPA-100-S specifically for compact lenses was released.
Compact size ellipsometer SE-102 was released.
Transparent substrate-capable mapping ellipsometer ME-201-T was released.
Super wide range bireringence measurement system WPA-100-H was released.
Large sample-capable birefringence measurement system PA-110-t was released.
Microscope attachment birefringence observation camera PI-micro was released.
2014 Takashi Sato took up a post as the president and CEO.
The Company carried 30 million yen capital increase from one venture capital into effect.
2017 Capital decreased to 90 million yen and capital reserve changed to 53 million yen.
