We participated to Lens Expo, an exposition for lens design, fabrication process and inspection system, at Pacifico Yokohama (from 4/24 to 4/26). We presented our new injection-molding lens inspection system WPA-100-S and appealed its ability to improve fabrication processes by providing a feedback from the evaluation of the lenses, without using heavy-weight evaluation techniques such as MTF measurement. It can be used as well for direct quality control of lenses, for example by providing a pre-screening step before MTF evaluation.
